WP CRON is not reliable if your wordpress site doesn’t get a lot of visits. Therefore, it is better to disable WP Cron and use a real cron by using CPanel cron jobs.

    I host 7 different websites and I have disabled each website wp-config as you instructed. Do I need to add an Advanced Cron Job for each website that I disabled the wp-cron in my cpanel?

    Disabling the Wp Cron job and Adding real time Cron job decreases the Adsense Revenue ?. My Analytics views and Adsense Views are mismatching, adsense showing nearly half views of what analytics showing. reply me to solve this issue.

    Excelente post.
    If anyone is experiencing problem, an even easier way to set up cron job to access a URL, is using free cron services.
